Composition:
Each capsule contains 10 mg Lycopene and 150 mg Ellagic acid.
Pharmacological action:
Lycopene is the pigment that gives fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes their red colour. It is considered a caretonoid but without vitamin A activity. Ellagic acid is a dietary supplement found naturally in berries. It inhibits tumour growths caused by certain carcinogens. Both have antioxidant activity, can scavenge free radicals and quench singlet oxygen molecules.
Indications:
Promato is a nutritional supplement that has antioxidant properties, thereby enhancing the immune function. It assists in maintaining the function of the prostate gland and acts as a free radical scavenger. Free radicals have been implicated in many diseases, such as auto-immune diseases.
